Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Teaching

The Doctor of Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Teaching is designed to provide teacher learners the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies that will enhance their instructional practice and leadership. You will have the opportunity to explore, examine, and evaluate contemporary teaching and instructional practices, including the evaluation of broader curriculum programs. Upon completion of the program, you’ll be prepared to be a strong leader for improvements within educational organizations. You will integrate theoretical constructs into your considerations of complex professional problems, developing strategies, tactics, and policies not only to improve practice and ensure regulatory compliance, but also with attention to issues of equity, inclusion, social justice, and ethical conduct. You will complete 16 courses for 48 credit hours in as few as 33 months.
