Master of Science in Nursing - RN to MSN - Nursing Education

The RN to MSN Bridge program is designed for registered nurses who have already earned an associate's degree in nursing and are ready to expand their career opportunities and better serve their patients by obtaining a graduate-level degree. Graduates of this program are prepared to assume leadership roles in management, education and clinical practice within a diverse society and across a spectrum of healthcare settings.

The Nursing Education specialization is designed to provide courses that will equip students with a comprehensive education grounded in nursing theory and research, a practical knowledge of legal and ethical issues in healthcare, and specialized skills in areas such as teaching strategies and curriculum development.

The RN to MSN degree program is for registered nurses who have an associate degree in nursing and wish to pursue a graduate degree. The associate degree student does not receive a BSN degree, but instead progresses toward graduating with the MSN degree - Nursing Education.

In addition to coursework, students will have the opportunity to attain classroom and clinical experience during the Nursing Education Practicum course.
